Grace Upon Grace

Welcome to Grace Upon Grace, the ministry pages of Pastor Grant Christensen!
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:14, 16-17 (ESV) Cross Dove

"For freedom Christ has set us free."
Everywhere Jesus went He approached people with love and grace. To the leper, an outcast from friends, family and community, who ran to Jesus and asked, "If you wanted to, you could heal me," Jesus did the unthinkable: He reached out and touched the man and said, "I want to; be healed!" To the woman at the well--a "failure" of a wife, married five times, now living with a man--Jesus first revealed that He was the Messiah, the one who came to save. To the demon-possessed man in the Gerasenes--under the control of six-thousand demons--Jesus with a mere word set the man free. When the man begged Jesus to follow him, Jesus forbade him and said, "Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you." To the woman caught red handed in the very act of adultery, who under the Law faced the very real sentence of stoning, Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and leave your life of sin." To the widow of Nain--on the verge of being left destitute after the death of her only son--Jesus again did the unthinkable by touching the funeral bier and then gave back to the widow her only son--breathing and talking and living! Everywhere Jesus went He approached people with His powerful grace and with His gracious power! Within these pages may you find resources that will help you to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus!
